Need Help for Choosing a Right Field in Medical

Published

hieveryone,

i need help choosing a right field . i am a pre-nursing student and i amwaiting for getting into the program, but one of my advisors suggested me thati should graduate from university because i have completed all other universityrequirements except choosing any program. so, my advisor offered me a recreationaltherapy program. do you think this is a right program to choose and can i get agood paying job after getting license? i really want to do nursing, but i justcan't get into the program.

If I couldn't get into nursing, my minor was too be paramedic. Think about it, with you completing some prerequisites for nursing, you already completed for EMT classes. Granted paramedics don't get paid as much as RN's and around the same as LPN's but that's jut the money aspect. You can still take care and help people by being a paramedic and EMT is a mug less competitive route then nursing. Hope this helps

thanksfor the comment, yea it really helps. actually i am attending california stateuniversity and there they don't offer emt program. i really wish if there wouldhave offered that. now a day getting into the universities is even morechallenging. so i am thinking to graduate from that university with any programsuch as recreational therapy. however, i am not sure whether it’s a goodprogram or not. in order to do the paramedics, i have to leave university andhave to attend community college.

Well if you really feel that you won't get into nursing program in California than do the CC. Not only is ur cheaper then the university, you won't be wasting money graduating from generals and then u STILL may not even get into the nursing program. It's a win-win situation in my opinion.
