im scheduled to take my nclex pn exam this week but im postponing it until next month as i dont feel confident enough to take it quite yet. my question is, im not sure if i should sign up for the kaplan or hurst review on line in the mean time. i have the blue kaplan 2010-2011 strategy review bk as well as the green saunders comprehensive review bk. do you think that is sufficient enough (the bks alone?) or should i really look into a review class as well (ie. kaplan or hurst) and if so, which one?? please advise! thanks so much!!!!

Most people are successful only using a review book or two. But if you can afford it, and think you need the boost of a review course, then go for it. Only you can make that decision. Some people sign up for review courses and are disappointed, while others say they were very helpful.

Look at the ExamCram book, its been recommended, also Priorization, Delegation, and Assignment by Linda A LaCharity. Read up on the live review courses on the NCLEX discussion forum. I read quite a few reviews on the Hurst and Kaplan courses from mostly RNs but it should help you decide.
