Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking on allnurses since before starting nursing school...today I finally decided to join and post. I am scheduled to take my NCLEX-RN on Sept 2nd. I am taking Kaplan and using the Prioritization book. I'm just feeling overwhelmed right now. I am going in on Monday to have a lump removed from my breast and biopsied and I am having a hard time thinking about anything else. Under no circumstances will I reschedule this exam, but I am just worn out and mad at the timing of it all. I worked so hard through nursing school (with two little kids) to make my dream come true and I'm at the end of it all and wham...just feeling down right now and need a little encouragement to get me through the next 2 1/2 weeks.
BTW my Kaplan scores are okay I guess...hope it is good enough.

Hey you can do this!
You should pray and ask for strength, courage and be thankful for all the wonderful things you are enjoying. You are a lucky person you know, with your kids and finishing nursing school. Other people will give anything to have what you have.
Try to beat your scores at 70's. Kaplan questions are more on the easier side so I suggest you do more q and a's on other books/references. This way you'll be able to practice your test taking skills well.
Good luck :)
