I subcribed to a previous post of a male nurse who was HIV postive and he said obviously I can't do obs and gyny why not?
I must admit that during my training the lads wheren't allowed to do it but that was 1990, (and at that point us girlies were not allowed to do male caterterisation!) but they could do midwifery, which one of my male friends fully intended to do, my own midwife for my twin delivery was male and and did sterling job unfortunatly because of my footling presentation I had to have a C section but he was there with me, I've never understood why nursing has the male/female boundries espiecially against men considering that a majority of doctors are male... and do far more invasive proceedure, I have alway felt male nurses (and I hate that expression what other profession needs to put a gender in?) tend to have looked longer and harder at themselves before enbarking on their career (appart from my mate Simon who said how else was I going to find a bunch of hot women before anyone else:bow:) so what I am asking do you get annoyed about restriction?
