Hi all,

I posted this in general nursing...but I've got a friend who's a travel RN working in the OR and wants to come to Vegas for her next assignment. She's having trouble (and so I am) finding any open positions in OR for the Las Vegas area. There are many openings for med-surg and such, but very limited for OR. She only has 3 more weeks left on her current assignment in Pueblo, CO. We haven't been able to find any companies/agencies that have Vegas openings. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I've never worked in Vegas and I'v "heard" that some of the hospitals out there are so great.

Here's what you do. Call the hospitals and ask them who they use for a travel company. Then call those travel companies and ask them to find you an OR position.

I have a feeling one of the "big" companies has the contract. IMHO I wouldn't work for several of the big companies as they don't have very good reps with the more experienced travelers
