Hello, I received a letter from CSULA that I got in as an Upper Division Transfer for Fall Quarter 2010. I have to pay 100 dollars enrollment fee before May 1. Does this mean that I already got into the Nursing Program for this school? or I just got into the school but not the program. What should I do please help me.....
What if i dont get into the Program, should I just continue with this school and wait until I get in or that would be a waste of time.

I'm in Northern Arizona University's Nursing program. When I received my acceptance letter it was not addressed from Northern Arizona University, but from Northern Arizona University's School of Nursing. But it may be different depending on universities. I'm not sure how USULA decides on admissions: GPA, Exam score, volunteer experience, health experience? But if they do look at a variety of competencies, I would imagine that you'd get an extra point simply for being a student at the university already. If you have nothing planned for Fall, I would just take a class....it couldn't hurt any right?
oh forgot to add this -_-;
I have to move if i want to go csula cuz its about 1 hour or more to get there. If anything wouldnt it be the same if i just take the prerequisite courses at any jr college?

Usually(or at least in my area) it doesn't matter where you take the prereqs, just as long as you have a good GPA and all the required courses.
More than likely if you haven't taken your prereqs yet then the acceptance letter from your school isn't for the nursing program yet. Where I live you have to have all of the prereqs done before they will put you into the nursing program...I would check with the school and ask them if it matters where you get your prereqs done. I would also ask what the GPA has to be to get into their nursing program b/c a lot of programs won't accept you if your GPA isn't at least a 3.5...
If I've misunderstood your question and you've already done all your prereqs then just forget everything I have said...LoL...But either way I would call the school that sent you your letter and confirm everything with them. Good Luck :redbeathe
Take a class online? That way you don't have to move until you begin the program?

Call the school and ask. They can tell you exactly what it means before you send in your money if you're concerned aand trying to figure out what to do.
i've already scanned the entire letter lol... don't see any word related to nursing T.T
