  1. For some reason I cannot, AT ALL, flex my left triceps... dont know why. I had one left shoulder injury once from dumbbell press but thats a few years ago so i dont think thats the reason. BTW my right arm is normal, I can still flex my right triceps.. plz help.... should i go to a doctor? PS I always workout both of my arms evenly, and no my left arm is not broken at all, just cannot flex my left triceps.
  2. i've already scanned the entire letter lol... don't see any word related to nursing T.T
  3. oh forgot to add this -_-; I have to move if i want to go csula cuz its about 1 hour or more to get there. If anything wouldnt it be the same if i just take the prerequisite courses at any jr college?
  4. Hello, I received a letter from CSULA that I got in as an Upper Division Transfer for Fall Quarter 2010. I have to pay 100 dollars enrollment fee before May 1. Does this mean that I already got into the Nursing Program for this school? or I just got into the school but not the program. What should I do please help me..... What if i dont get into the Program, should I just continue with this school and wait until I get in or that would be a waste of time.
  5. Hhaha I've been thinking of getting the CNA certificate but it going to cost me 1.5g to be in the program and I don't have that kind of money right now. I was thinking of volunteer at hospitals but I dont know where to go/ ask the right person ahha. I'm a guy so to me atleast it somewhat awkward to do these kind of things dont you guys think?
  6. I just took the ipersonic topology test and it turned out that "dreamy idealist" almost fits me 100%. Here is the link for the description http://www.ipersonic.com/career/DI.html. I just want to know if you guys think that I will enjoy nursing career with this personality.
  7. I took the test and turned out I'm an Idealist. What kind of careers can I become wit this?
  8. Here is a short summary of my situation. Currently I'm a third year student at Orange Coast College. In my first two years I wanted to become pharmacist then on the third year(this year) I decided that the career is not for me. I picked Computer Science at first and actually took one class and I do not like it at all. Afterward I've been looking into Nursing career ever since(6 months already). I don't want to let me parents down and I feel like the longer i stay in this school the more they disappointed in me. Just today, I typed in "I hate nursing" in google just to check out the cons for this career and to my surprise there are so many that actually starting to worry me. I've already do many research and here are some of the cons I've found: 1. Underpaid + Overwork. 2. Really really really stressful career. 3. People don't give you respect (coworker + patients) 4. Screw up schedules (ruined your social life) 5. There are many more but it seems like my thread is getting long... I have a few questions for Nurses. 1. DO you like/hate your job? why? 2. DO you recommend nursing career for students? why? 3. DO you regret going into nursing career?? 4. Is it true that there are variety of nursing jobs in one hospital?? for example if you hate your area/floor you can pick a different one in the same hospital and have totally different experience?? Please please answer these questions from the bottom of your heart. I'm so depressed right now. Right now I just want to rip my B*lls out with my bare hands cuz I don't feel like I'm a man anymore. I don't know since when have I become this indecisive and so low in confidence.

  11. u should check ur grammar before u criticize me idiot
  12. lol I hope ur just kidding o.O
  13. For many nurses that work nightshift, just wondering if any of you that actually seen ghosts or anything that is paranormal in the hospital at night? Also to my guessing, nightshift nurses probably work alone most of the time taking care of sleeping patients, do you guys ever get scared? lol..... What if a patient died at that night and you happen to be the first one that find out, do you get scared when you go up and check the dead patient alone in the dark room? lol I want to be a nurse and I think I can handle blood/filth/odor etc but I just worry about ghosts and working at night kinda scare me too o.O Will i still be able to become a good nurse with this problem? lol
  14. ya thx. Just still deciding whether if i should get the LPN or the CNA thing while waiting. Most people said LPN doesnt really related to RN so CNA might be better.
  15. LPN is my option because I dont know what to do while waiting for the waitlist to end lol. I also already thinking about getting the CNA certificate instead of LPN which probably is easier/cheaper/faster route but less money lol 10-15 bucks an hour i believe.
