I have been pondering the thought of nursing school (for the last 10 yrs). I was recently laid off from my job in accounting (13 yrs). Nursing has always been on my mind but I wasn't the best at math and science in H.S. Although I had socializing on my mind a little to much and didn't take it seriously. I am now 34 and I am not sure I will be able to pull it off. I think I just need to here from someone that had some of the same doubts and made it thru. I figure now is the best time to start since I am unemployed, I am just scared to deathe. Also, how does everyone pay for college. With me not working money is going to be tight and there would be no way I could pay out of pocket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What are your thoughts on the program at IBC? I am an LPN who is tired of waiting to get into a transition program so I am to have a meeting next week at IBC. Do you like the instructors? What kind of hours are your classes? etc. I'm just looking for any information and opinions I can get. Thanks!
