My hubby is about to take the NCLEX in 5 days and has been reviewing for quite some time now. Im convincing him to join this forum and he does lurk.. but in the meantime, I was wondering if any one has any advice for his dillemma:
In most of his NCLEX review questions, he zones in on the 2 usually correct answers, but is often 50-50 on which one is the BEST answer. (He says NCLEX questions usually go this way... you can easily cross out two, and then have to figure out which of the other 2 correct questions IS THE BEST.)As a result, his practice questions on Lippincot and Feuer reviewers average around 60% correct only. I tried mulling over this and I honestly dont know if theres any clear solution. Sigh. (Btw, Im a prenursing student)
Thanks for taking your time to read this. I really appreciate any help you guys have! You dont konw how much this means to us! :)

My only advise is try kaplan, it will show you strategies to use on the NCLEX. Also, this forum has helped me so much, so join and get useful advise for other nurses.

Hi ..I just took the NClex-Rn last friday and I was really scared and worried after the test because the choices seems to be all with sense and you need to be very careful.I suggest to read the questions carefully and read it twice or 3 times then try to connect each choices to the question. I did that in it worked, I pass the Test. I had only 75 questions and believe me, every time that I answered the questions I was not sure about my answer, but I stick to the first choice that I felt like close and very much related to the question.. So Have faith in God and try to do th practice test that is so helpful. And take your time.
