Hey Everyone!
I am in a predicament... I am about to finish up nursing school and I found the NCSBN online review and it looks great! over 1,000 questions as well as instructor feedback. (There are many other features you can find at http://learningext.com/students/p/nclex-rn.aspx) However I was wondering how this compares to something like the ATI online live review??? I know that the ATI gives you a green light when they feel you are ready to take boards and they have a 99% pass rate after taking that course online. PLUS individualized study plans!
So... my question is... who has done the NCSBN online NCLEX review and how helpful is it?
Thanks!

I did NCSBN review. I found it minimally helpful. I didn't need to review content, but I briefly looked at the content review it comes with and I didn't find it to be the best, very brief. The questions were confusing at times. In the end I think it was helpful to do practice questions on the computer, but if I had known then what I know now I wouldn't have purchased it. I used ATI throughout school, but not the live review. I didn't purchase Kaplan, but used the Kaplan book and questions cd and found those questions to be most like NCLEX. The PDA book was very helpful as the majority of my test was priority type questions.

I used the ncsbn review when I was studying for the nclex-pn last yr. I liked it. I used that along with saunders and ati(minimally). When it came time for the actual test, I felt that the NCLEX was nothing like we were used to...ATI is great but I think it's way easier than the NCLEX. This yr my school has purchased us a Kaplan course in order to prep for the NCLEX-RN but I still think ncsbn is really good. Don't get me wrong..you can still use ATI for studying but I don't think you should rely on it solely. Good luck and happy studying!!!
(Forgot to add) I bought the PDA book by Lacharity and I think it's really great! If you have a few bucks to spare, I suggest buying it from Amazon. Priority questions are a weak spot of mine.

I recently used it . It was very clear and helpful I passed with 83 questions we used ATI during school so I needed just to brush up. It is plain and simple. Try Lacharuty for prioritization
