I really liked reading other peoples' posts about when they found out they passed so I thought I would post my experience.
Tuesday, Jan. 3, 8:00 am - Took NCLEX. Shut off at 75 questions.
Tues. 2pm - Went home and got the good pop up on pearson vue. TX BON still shows my temporary license as active.
Thurs. Jan 5 - 8 am Quick results not available on pearson vue. Tx BON does not show my registered nurse license. Still shows temporary license as active.
Thurs. 8:15 am - Quick results available on pearson vue. I passed! Woohoo!
Thurs. 9:30 am - TX BON shows me as a registered nurse!!!!!
Finally I can relax!

I passed this last july. studied around 100-200 questions everyday for the two weeks preceding the test. did not do much content review, just a quick look over what i got wrong. focusing more on HOW to answer nclex style questions. used saunders the most
I had a similar timeline, though it took about 4 days after i passed for my name to show on michigan BON site.

YAAAAAYYY!!!! So glad that you shared your experience. I have three semesters to go but it sure is nice to know what to expect! Way to go passing NCLEX!
I used the Hurst review which was really helpful for me. When I was taking the test and faced with questions that I didn't know, Marlene's tips were very helpful. I highly suggest Hurst review.

I took it about 3 years ago, so I don't remember all the exact times/dates. I took it in the afternoon. I got home, watched TV, ate dinner and then took a nap since I was working a noc shift at my CNA job that night. Went to work and tried not to dwell on whether or not I passed all night. Got home around 0800 and ran to the computer to check the board of nursing website and it still said results were pending. Went upstairs and got ready for bed and laid down to try to sleep a bit before my then 2 month old daughter woke up. About 0930, my daughter woke up and needed to nurse, so I figured I might as well get up and check again while she was nursing. Checked the board of nursing site again and it said "Examination results: Passed"!

I took nclex pn yesterday. I am so nervous it shut off at 85 questions. I had a lot of prioritizing, no calculations questions and just a few SATA. Let's see how it goes. I will find out on Monday. Congratulations on passing your test.
