NCLEX test dates... and results

Published

Hi everyone, I'm graduating from nursing school next month and I'm wondering a couple things about the exam..

1. How do we know the dates for the exam so we can schedule ourselves to take the NCLEX? I've sent all my stuff to the BRN, just waiting to graduate so my school can send in my transcripts to the BRN, which probably won't be done until late next month.

2. When results of the NCLEX are posted online, can everyone see your full first and last name? And does it say Pass/Fail next to your name?

Thanks,

me

Hi,

Once you send in all of your paperwork you have to graduate. After you graduate, your school has to send a certificate of completion, stating you have completed all requirements of their program. It is up to your school when they send it. Once the BON receives it (I think it is BON) you get an authorization to test. Once you have the ATT you call Pearson Vue or go online and find a date.

The results are posted online at your states BON website under verification. Right now my BON website has my name with pending next to it, once I test it will either have a license number or I think it might say fail. This whole thing makes my stomach hurt.
