I took the NCLEX-RN today. On question 98, it asked me if I wanted a break. I declined the break. After question 100, it stopped. I got the good pop-up. I don't know how reliable this can be. What do you think?
Do you mean can you pass in 100 questions? You can pass or fail at 75, 100, 187, or 265 questions. The number of questions is not correlated to pass or fail I believe the median number of questions and passing is ~138. The breaks are offered at specific time intervals, no correlation to where you are in relation to the passing standard or number of questions.
The pop up is a trick. It is somewhat reliable but not a guarantee. Quick results ($7.95, not available in all states) are unofficial but accurate. Official results are only released by the state board of nursing. The majority of people with the "good " pop up from the trick pass
I'm sure you remember from the NCLEX PN that the NCLEX is an exhausting test that many walk out in utter shock uncertain if they passed or failed.
I test very well , did well on ATI & NLN proficiency exams as well as through nursing school and I had no idea whatsoever if I passed or failed when I walked out of my exam.
I didn't feel secure trusting the PVT and paid for quick results. (My state takes 4-8 weeks to post licensing results)
