Hi. Any of you guys know a NCLEX-RN Review that won't cause a million per say.
Kaplan is about $300 or so. I know of a couple that won't be that expensive looking for a Community College Review Class or even a Adult School Review Class something affordable. I'm in So.Cali Long Beach Area willing to travel but not too too far away.
1.Riverside Community has an NCLEX-RN Review Class
2.My LVN union has one also (SEIU) in Los Angeles
3.There was another community college that offer NCLEX-RN review besides
Riverside community but unfortunately I didn't not save the site grr!! I think it's in OC.
Anyone can add to list i'll be most thankful. :)

you know you are right kaplan is expensive, but honestly its really worth it IMO.
some girls from school got a group together, called up Kaplan, and b/c they had a group, they each got over $100 off!!!
maybe you could try doing that? the program really is worth it.

I'm in SoCAL and i've got the best cheapest review course...
Simple idea:
1) Go to your local bookstore.
2) Pick out Saunder's 3rd edition NCLEX review.
3) Pay your $36.99 at the counter.
4) Read the 1200 pages of review, questions, test-taking-tips.
5) Answer all 4000 questions off their CD.
6) Ace the NCLEX.
If you don't want to waste your money... a nice review book will be much more valuable. The only reasons people take review courses:
1) They have no motivation for self-study.
2) They believe that review courses offer some secret success methods.
3) They didn't give themselves enough time to study.
4) They have too much money.
Either way... maybe look at local community colleges?

Have you heard about Sycamore Learning Center in the mid-Wilshire and in Ontario? Check it out guys... it could be the best decision you ever made in your life... I did my review with them and passed on my first try. I was so amazed how much I learned from them compared to what I learned in my school.
