I graduated this May 2012. And I have almost all my books from school.
These are all my NCLEX review books:
Kaplan 2011-2012 Strategies, Practices, and Review book
NCLEX-RN Cram 3rd Ed
borrowed two old Kaplan RN course books
Registered for a Kaplan review and have my own current RN course book
did another NCLEX review with another course book
Saunders 5th Ed comprehensive review (yellow book)
Mosby 20th Ed comprehensive review
HESI comprehensive review
Lippincott NCLEX-RN 10,000 question book
15 NCLEX iPhone apps
a clinical Lab book
and thousands of paper notes from school and friends.
My friend showed me this book called "NCLEX-RN 101: How To Pass" and I'm thinking about getting it. Do I really need another book?
I took my boards Oct 9 and failed. I was excited to take it but my nerves got the best of me when I didn't understand the questions. It's BASIC nursing skills and I couldn't even get it. I paid too much attention to the types of questions and what number i was on.
I'M SO NERVOUS, SCARED, DiSCOURAGED that I have to retake it :/
During my review class, I get the content. My review teacher made it so simple. but I've been getting 60% on my practice tests. a few 90s but no consistency. How do I know I'm ready?
This might be far fetched but I believe when you look at a question and know what category it falls in. I am researching this idea to see if it helps understand the test process.
