I have heard of people calling for other reasons...I see no reason why you couldn't call for this one.

Good luck

I'm not sure what your situation is, so I'm not sure if this will help you. If an NCLEX applicant answered "yes" to any of the legal questions at the bottom of the page, then the applicant must submit additional paperwork (ie court documents, etc...) to substantiate. Often, this extra paperwork will slow down the review process by your State Board of Nursing, who has to review applicants with additional paperwork on their applications. It might range from writing a bad check to DUI to delinquent child support. They have to determine whether or not an applicant can sit for NCLEX and ultimately practice or not. I have written letters of support for some of my former students in this situation, and some of them took 5-6 months to get the testing ticket from Pearson.

A school can hold up applications if they wait for everyone in a class to turn in their applications. We've had to delay groups of apps before while waiting for their official transcripts from the registrar's office. If your director forgets to sign your application, that could hold it up. There are a variety of things that oculd delay it on the school's end, but it sounds like your school wasn't delinquent.:twocents:
