Nclex retakers please does anyone know

For those who needed to retake the nclex in ca, do you need to wait until the brn approves your reregistration for nclex? Or is it possible that once youve sent your payment and reregistraion form i can schedule my test. Please let me know because i'd like to schedule my test asap. Thank you in advance.

A lot will depend on where you did your training. If outside the US then I would suggest you wait before registering with pearsonvue. Pearsonvue will not send ATT until the BRN tells them it is OK for you to sit the exam

i did my training in california. should i wait for the approval or can i pay and schedule for the test? thank you in advance

I would say you are OK to register with pearsonvue. They will release ATT once Ca OK it and Ca will allow you to sit exam as long as your name is on the list submitted by your nursing school and before your file is complete
