Hello everyone. My wife was refused to take the nclex a week ago because she didnt sign her passport... I hate her :angryfire Anyways, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much the cost will be. It was her first time to take the exam. I checked with CA board and they said we dont have to pay anything for the first try and we only have to pay 200$ for the ATT and 150$ to take the test outside the country.
But some people are telling me that I only have to pay 75$ for the retest. Can anyone tell me which is which and how I should go about this. Thank you

If she still has her ATT and hasn't expired then it should just be a case of re booking the exam and pay Pearsonvue their fees.
I called pearsonvue and they said that I have to pay 200$ for a new ATT and wait 45 days before she can retake the exam and another 150$ to take the exam outside the US. Is this correct? can anyone verify. The previous ATT is still valid tho.
maybe worth posting this in the International forum and see if anyone else has had this problem

How do I reapply to take the NCLEX-RN examination?
To retake the NCLEX-RN Examination, you must submit to the Board a completed Request for Reapply/Repeat Examination form along with the reapplication fee of $75. When the Board issues a notice of failing result, the Request for Reapply/Repeat Examination form is provided to the candidate.
This form may also be downloaded from the Board’s Web site at http://www.rn.ca.gov/lic/reapply.htm.
Please note that you must also register again with the Pearson VUE testing service, and pay the $200 registration fee.
All in all you'll pay : $75 for the reapplication form, $200 for the exam, $150 for the location outside the U.S.
