Hello, I recently just failed my first semester of Nursing School [Fundamentals]. I missed it by a point to pass for my overall grade. I do have one more chance to continue and pray that I can pass everything from here on out.

I was just wondering if people have any extra sources they have used to help them study for Fundamentals? I was looking more towards books or online programs that renders Nclex style questions. Or, some questions that are geared toward fundamentals.

I was also wondering if people have any pointers on how to choose the BEST or MOST answer. For instance, I did not realize this until the END of my course that. ABCs were really critical in choosing the best answer. Is there any other small little tips here and there that can help you choose the best answer?

The questions are TOUGH, but they thoroughly prepare you and the rationales are VERY detailed.

I'll take tough questions, I realized, my program is basically a big 2 year test prep for the NCLEX and will not hold your hand if you are not able to understand in a timely manner. Thank you very much for your reply!

I have the 3rd book you linked. I bought a couple of the Davis success series (maternal and newborn health, med-surg and pediatric). They are AMAZING. My grades have been really high ever since I found out and started using the books. If youre looking for test taking tips you should definitely buy the 2nd book you linked!
