Hi, I am going to be taking my PN-nclex soon and right now I am doing some study review questions and finding that I am having alot of trouble with the meds. I am using Saunders and sometimes it just gives me the medication name and asks what the side effects are.......it was different in school. The questions always gave alittle bit more information pertaining to that med.
Is that how the NCLEX is too?? Or will I get alittle more info, like what it's for or what it's treating???
Also, is there another place i should be studying from besides Saunders??? I really dont' wanna go out and buy another dang book but I REALLLLY don't want to fail and I am getting extremely discouraged doing these practice questions from the Saunders CD......
Any help or comments are welcome.

Your description is the way pharm questions appear on the test. You won't get a lot of info. If you find that you are having trouble, you probably need to spend some time with your pharm text from school. Start by learning each class of drug and one representative drug from each class. Expand from this start and you should do ok with the pharm questions.
