I am going to be taking the NCLEX-PN exam next year and I want to purchase some study guides. However, I plan to then go straight into the RN program the following fall & then take the NCLEX-RN exam. My question is do I need to buy different study guides for each exam? Or can I go ahead and buy the study guide for the RN exam and use it to study for the PN exam?

You can purchase an RN study guide for both exams, but the PN study guide will probally suit you better since the RN study guide is more detailed. I purchased Saunder's Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN and the one for the NCLEX-RN.

HTH!

Thanks for the response. That is what I figured. Now I know what to ask Santa for Christmas, Saunder's Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN.
