I'm on my second week of waiting for my result taken last July 16th. I did the PVT 48 hours later, used invalid cc info at first, said card declined then tried multiple times and finally used a valid cc info and was charged. I already read most threads here regarding the PVT, some got charged and still pass. I'm just hoping I'm one of those few.
I'm still being positive.

Are you in a State that does not participate in the Quick Results program (you cannot pay $8 for results)?
While it is most certainly true that the PVT is a guessing game, not an accurate assessment of how you did, if you do it after a full 48 hours has passed you aren't likely to get any surprises. Possible that you passed? Yes. Likely? No.
Your exam is scored immediately upon closing of the test (it's WHY your test shut down when it did) and reviewed at some point during the following 24 hours. Any PVT pop up PRIOR to 24 hours means absolutely nothing, as a passing test can fail and a failing test pass once the QA review is done.
After 24 hours, it is what it is. But the trouble comes in when people do what you did: continue to input card info over and over again (SUCH a bad idea)....sometimes PV will simply take the charge that's offered.
If you don't mind me asking, WHY did you repeatedly do the PVT, when you knew it was only likely to take your money once you gave it valid info?
I never thought someone would reply to my post. Thank you for those insights. Unfortunately, we don't have the quick results here in CA. I did it repeatedly out of curiosity and anxiety of waiting I guess.
Ah yes, California and its arcane way of processing applications...sorry!
I definitely get the anxiety level that is provoked when waiting for results, but it seems that the PVT only adds to it, for most people anyway. Some do say it helps, but....I doubt you feel that way now
Wait it out, see what happens....that's all you really can do, unfortunately.
Good luck!
