Hi! Im from california! Im a BSN graduate from the Philippines back in 2010. And I heard from a friend who resides there that in order for you to take the Nclex , you need to have your credentials be verified by the CGFNS Cvs. As We all know that things have gotten so bad for foreign graduates here in CA. Thats why im trying to apply for the Ny license.
I also heard that it takes 6-8 months on average for the CGFNS to process my credentials and one reason for that is the time it takes to get all the necessary requirement from the school. So I'm thinking about contacting the BON here for them to pass all my requirements that they have. Coz they also told me before when I asked them about my options when they rejected my application that if ever I apply to a different state , ill just tell them where and they'll be the one to pass them all..
The question is, you think he results of the verification of my files would be affected if the CGFNS got them from the BON. Coz its already been evaluated here? Or it wont affect at all..? I just thought of that process , (from the BON here to CGFNS there) , just to expedite the process and avoid the 6-8 months period of just waiting for them to get my files in the Philippines. That if they'll just send it from here itll be faster?
Anyone ever done that?
Thanks for the help.

CVS is a service that NY requires CGFNS to perform with generally means CGFNS must send for the documents hence the reason to why it takes 6 months. I doubt CGFNS will accept documents sent by another BON but best thing to do would be to ask CGFNS
