Hi everyone.
I just wanted to share with you guys what i heard today, and am hoping someone could clarify this for me.
:confused:Is it true that someone can't take the nclex after the third time? and you will have to enroll in a school for more review? please has anyone heard about this?????????????:typing

In some states like New Mexico,the BON requires only three times after that you'll just take a refresher course.Kindly check on your respective BON state website for more info.

Vermont has had this rule for at least 10 months - when I first completed the application. They want to see what review course you have taken before allowing you to sit the test again.
I think that is reasonable, if you fail that many times you really need to review your strategy.

Every state has their own requirements. Which state are you looking at?
i will be testing with texas BON
this is from the Texas BON website
Texas has unlimited testing within four (4) years of eligibility. US graduates will have four (4) years and unlimited testing attempts to take the exam from their date of graduation. For example, if you graduated from a nursing program 05/01/2000 then you will have until 05/01/2004 to take and pass the NCLEX exam.
