Hello everyone!
From the title of this thread, you can see I am taking the NCLEX for the second time.
My test is next Tuesday and I am extremely overwhelmed.
When I took the NCLEX the first time, I had all 265 questions and got 'near passing standards' in all categories but one and I was 'above passing' in that category.
As many of you know who have retaken the test, there is no direction as to what you should focus on the second time around so honestly, I have been doing content and strategy because I was not sure as to what was holding me back from passing.
Here we are, 45+ days later and a week away from my exam. I am having a hard time concentrating and I am becoming overwhelmed. I have been staying positive for the most part that I will pass this time but what if I don't?
I guess what I am looking for is any advice from others who have taken the exam and passed, taken the exam and failed but passed their second time, or anyone really as to what helped them stay positive and focused the week before?
How did you relax and stay calm knowing there was that possibility that you could fail again..
Thanks in advance for any feedback, I appreciate it so much!

It's been many, many years since I took NCLEX. But I still remember what I did the day before the test: I worked, I followed a coworker home who offered to let me spend the night so I wouldn't have to drive as far and get up as early (the test was offered near where I worked but not near where I lived, and at the time I was commuting about an hour), went for a massage (my first one ever, and I'm now addicted), and didn't study at all. The night off just seemed to help me relax.
