Hi I know a lot of people have asked this question but i need some advice. I am taking my NCLEX on the 10th and am losing motivation. I did the Kaplan review and started of okay with a diagnostic of 59%, T-1 = 61%, T-2= 55, T3= 50 and t-4 of 50 ( Qbanks 60 completed 20% of questions) readiness of 62%. I have been studying for a month and grades have been going down since. Do you think i should push my date back or i'm overstudying?
Thanks

Sounds to me like you're overstudying. Are you doing these every day? Are you doing anything else to study?
I found that taking Kaplan tests repeatedly just made me disheartened - felt the same way you did, to the point where when I took my boards I was afraid I was getting them all wrong because they felt too easy! Study alternate ways - read old outlines from class, re-take the quizzes in any of your text books, do flashcards, etc. Then stop studying 24 hours before you test and get plenty of rest and good food. You'll do great!

Thanks for the reply Fetch!! Yes I have been studying and doing questions from kaplan for 3 weeks 5 days a week for about 4 hours. I have another 2 weeks until i take the exam and can't seem to keep my motivation as i once had. I guess the Kaplan scores keep decreasing which in turn doesn't motivate me. I have started looking at study guides and staying away from KAPLAN for the next few days and study the study guides that were given to me by fellow classmates for the NCLEX. I'm hoping i get out of this funk and regroup sometime soon.

Is this your first time taking the test??if yes and you are able to postpone and able to do more then do it.to be safe and you don't have to go trough what I am going trough:(....
At the end it's your decision ..... Good luck to you;)
Thanks for the reply Hamburg. This is going to be my first time with the NCLEX. Did you think the NCLEX was like kaplan? I heard form classmates they were pretty similar or was it easier than kaplan. I think i'm over stressing my self like all people. lol
yes they are kind of Kaplan style ,:)
