NCLEX in GA

how many times can a new grad take nclex in ga? if i graduate from another state, can i take nclex in ga instead of my own state?

I can't answer how many times for GA (check the BON website, it should tell you). As for taking the NCLEX in another state, we had one graduated in our class from here in Louisiana and took NCLEX in SC to be licensed there. You need to apply to GA BON if you are wanting to be licensed in that state. It is my understanding that you can sit for the NCLEX its self anywhere. Here in Shreveport we have people from Texas who have to come here to take it. Hope some of this info helps. Good luck.
