Nclex this friday.

I was just wondering if i can pass nclex without using review course. I quit my job to focus on nclex and I only used saunders qna for pn, lippincott's alternative question, examcram, kaplan strategy book, nclex 4000 (free online) and the study guide that circulates around here. Coz I noticed that most of the people here that pass used Kaplan and Hurst review and I can't afford any of them. I'm trying to stay positive and calm to the point that I don't wanna look and answer questions anymore. It's just frustrating to see that I'm still making a lot of mistakes on some test and failing them. I studies for 2 1/2 months answering questions per content, reading ALL rationales, watching youtube videos about procedure and stuffs, and writing important contents on my small notebook. That's all that I did and I dunno if that's enough for me to pass this exam. :/

this is gonna be my 2nd time to take this. When I first took the first one, I just rushed and didn't really prepare for It. I wasn't hurt when I found out I failed 'coz I know I deserved it. But if i fail this one imma be devastated. Help.:/

Hi how did your exams go? Im from phils too. Planning to take my nclex soon.let me know how it goes

Hi, I'm also from the Philippines and I can tell you that you can pass the NCLEX without Hurst or Kaplan. I just recommend you read/answer Saunders, Kaplan course book and PDA by Lacharity.. Exam Cram helps too. Download some apps for your phone.. And don't worry about test scores as long as you get above 60% in every practice tests I think you'll do good, I took the nclex yesterday but before that I did some practice questions and I had a lot of wrong answers but I couldn't back down I just went to the testing center, prayed and read every questions. I just got the good pop up and my license# is already posted on the BON website today. I basically studied 1 month for 6 hours a day, had to quit my job too! I know you can do it just believe in yourself!

Thanks guy. My results been on hold for 10 days. I checked it earlier this afternoon and It changed to a good pop up. I danced for joy and told my mom that I pass but she doesn't wanna believe me. I'm pretty convinced 'coz i've been reading this forum about that pearson vue trick. A lot of people said that It's accurate and that's legit so I guess I'll just wait for the official results for now. BTW I stopped at minimum question which is 85 and I did get a lot of SATA. All the SATA that came out were all familiar because I read all of them from Saunders and Lippincott. I can honestly tell that i'm answering the questions right because it always change to SATA. My last 5 questions are like that before the computer stop. I really hope I passed this test.
