good day, I would like to ask some questions regarding the validity of NCLEX result.I took my CA NCLEX exam last April 2009 and luckily I passed I received a letter stating that I need to provide a SSS number or if not after 3 years my record will be invalid.. so I'm wondering if there's any way that I can have a temporary SSS number while still here in Philippines (since the application going to CA takes a long time). or there's another way for me to do so that the validity of my exam wont expire, I only have 2 years to go so I need some advice to what to do.. Thank you so much!

unfortunately you cannot get a social security number unless you find a sponsor to sponsor your working visa, or you get married in the US. Right now everyone has the same problem for california as they are requiring sss to be eligible to take the CA NCLEX exams.

Moved to the International forum as nothing to do with nursing in the Philippines.
Much has already been written about SSN and CA. You can not get a SSN until in the US with a valid work/immigrant visa.

You may want to search the BONs website for each state and find one that doesn't require a ss# and have your NCLEX results transfered there in order to keep your results safe. Some BONs don't require a ss# but they may require one for renewal. Good Luck
