So I'm a second semester student currently taking med surg 1 and mother baby. It was suggested to me by an instructor that I should get a comprehensive Nclex book to help me study..she says they will allow me to look up groups of question based specifically on what I'm learning at that time. Any suggestions?

There are literally dozens of threads on AN to answer this question for you.
The way you search is to go to the yellow band at the top, locate the box that says, "Search," and enter your search terms, in this case, "NCLEX review books."
Then go read the bazillion links, follow the ones that look interesting, and read to your heart's content.
Thanks..sorry pretty new to the website and still figuring everything out
No apologies needed. So many people don't know about the search feature, or figure that they are the first person ever to need to know about ..... and we always try to teach people to help themselves. :) Welcome to AllNurses!
Thanks! I'm sure the questions I have I'm not the first lol I'll take a look and see what I can find thanks
