I was thinking of waiting till the fall semester as well but changed my mind. They are most likely going to change the requirements to get into the bsn program so I'd rather not risk it. I have completed all the courses in the nursing program now with a decent gpa and ok TEAS score so I'm just going to apply for the spring and pray I get in.
Good point! I had a lot of credits I transferred in from my old school so it was just fufilling the more health/science related classes I needed left. I just feel like I'm not getting information about the program so I'm considering other options and since I have soo many credit I may just continue my path on liberal arts degree and then apply to adelphi, Molloy or post where they offer money to NCC graduates and I've already saw online they would accept my classes
I am applying for Spring. If I get in, I get in. I can't stress it. I still have micro to take and then all my prereqs are done. I am 43 yrs old so want to get the program over sooner rather then later. Watch this space....
Totally agree with you, I felt like I've been screwed by schools too many times and I really really just want to work in a hospital already. I'm legit ready to get to the next step of my life (career wise), that's the only reason why I'm considering other options and might go out of my comfort zone and go to a private school
