Navy nursing abroad?

I'm considering becoming a navy nurse and I was wondering what working abroad opportunities there are! I know there are naval hospitals based around the globe, but I'm wondering what the actual chances are of getting stationed there as your first base.

This is a very broad question bc the answer is dependent upon so many factors. Head to the government/military nursing board and read through some of those posts.

At at the minimum though you need a BSN to join and will go where the navy needs you, not necessarily where you wish to be.
