Navarro Lvn to RN Summer 2024

Nursing Students School Programs

Hey Everyone!!

I just wanted to make a thread for Summer 2024. I submitted my app 01/11 right before the deadline. I'm super nervous because my TEAS just made the eligible score to apply. I've done pretty well in my pre reqs though. Share any stats and info below while we wait to hear back!

I applied also. I work M_F 8a-5pm. I wondering how the schedule looks for Summer 2024 and the rest of the program.  Hope my clinic will work with me

I think they are working on applications!!

Hi!! I also applied to the Navarro bridge program. I've already started checking my email multiple times a day. I believe they got acceptance letters March 1st last year. My overall TEAS was 80%. Just curious how do you know they have started working on applications?

I had (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I can't spell her name LOL, reached out to me because admissions messed up my audit. She stated she's starting my app, we should know before Spring break. My TEAS was horrible, 69 but I went ahead and applied. I got into Galen but they are so expensive.

That's exciting to know they are working on applications!! The TEAS was extremely hard I studied more for it than I did for the NCLEX-PN. I have a friend going to Galen who also said it's very expensive. Hopefully we both get into Navarro.

Me toooo! It's super close so I will decline Galen if Navarro says yes! Also, when I took my app, I was told this cycle didn't have many applications as normal....it's been a slow decline. IDK if that's a good or a bad thing.

Does anyone know what schedule looks like for Summer 2024? Don't know how I'm gonna manage work ?

I have friends in the program now who have said Summer is very busy and you will be required to be in class going over mostly everything learned in the lvn program. By fall it slows down to twice a week I believe one day lectures and one day clinical.

@Nurse_J that's interesting... I think it will be a good thing that less applied. I heard it fluctuates year to year. I wish we knew the day they plan to send offers out!

@KateDk124 right, especially due to my TEAS score. How has your friends liked the program?

Did you apply to any other schools?

One said it's much easier than the LVN, and the other said it seems harder. So, I guess it depends on the person. I plan to apply to Hill as well, but Navarro is my first choice.
