Navarro LVN Fall 2020

Published

I didn't see a thread for Navarro 2020 Fall LVN program, so I decided to create one. Is anyone else applying to this program? I currently have my application and is waiting to submit it next week!?

I got accepted and will be attending the Waxahaxie Campus, anybody know anything about the class schedules and why are we paying these high prices for Lab Kits? Anyone know if we will be face-to-face are online?

I'm attending Mexia, not sure about why the lab kit is so high . They haven't announced yet about schedules or how we will be attending. I would like to know, but since there's so much going on, I know they're trying to figure it out also. Good luck on your journey !

Does anyone know what type of blood pressure cuff we need? A cuff for the wrist or a regular one that goes around the arm?

I took it as a manual cuff for arm . Not really sure.

Has anyone heard anymore about orientation?

Nope nothing ever since Mrs. Dixon said to look for something in canvas this week.

I was told by Monday of this week, but still nothing.

Is this cuff stated for the packet we are to purchase?

Ours in Mexia is tomorrow

Congratulations to you all on your acceptance! I'm applying for the fall 2021 semester would any of you be willing to email me the syllabus for theory/lecture for your (fall) first semester as well as the current theory/syllabus for this Spring 2021 semester, please? I would greatly appreciate it. I want to get a head start on the reading as I am a slow learner and I have no room or time for failure. My kids are depending on me to do this.   My email is [email protected]

Thank you and good luck on your acceptance. I’m not sure exactly which syllabus you’re referring to, but most likely there will be lots of changes coming to next years program. If you’re accepted they give you the material to read waaaay ahead of time.

Oh okay! I hope the program is going well for you! Do you have Any advice on studying and being prepared for exams? Are exams forward progress only? Any labs values I should learn ahead of time? For the first semester did you go to campus 5 days a week? Thanks again!
