Navarro College Nursing 2013

Is anybody else out there applying to Navarro? The deadline is fast approaching and I'm already a nervious wreck. Last year's students started a thread to support each other during the wait and I have read it so many times. I thought it would be good to start another one for all of us who are already worried sick...hoping and praying that we've done enough to achieve our dream...

If there ever was a time to 'freak-out' it is now...

So, from reading these posts/comments I have stayed somewhat level headed throughout this drawn out wait for acceptance. However now that some of you have received e-mails the freaking out has started for me. I don't understand how I couldn't be accepted, but maybe I'm wrong in calculating my points?

How I see it I have 114 points and there is no reason why I wouldn't be passed by the BON.

I do have one question.. What exactly are the 10 non RNSG courses as they are described for point calculations?

Please help, I'm seriously going crazy now!

The 10 courses are the classes like comp 1, nutrition, psychology, algebra, orientation, a fine arts class...I think it might include the science classes too.

Also if I was wanting to contact the nursing dept. to insure they received my app in its entirety or to ask if all primary acceptance emails have been sent.. Would I contact Elizabeth Stroud?

I have her e-mail but does anyone have the number they have used that has worked?

Okay so those are all the courses I had to take in order to recieve my associates in science from Navarro.. I get this points then. So having calculated 114 should be accurate.. Wth

don't panic yet...from what i can gather from the blog from last year's students...not everybody found out at the same time. they found out over the course of a few days. it's hard for those that dont know because we found out on a friday. i'm sure there will be more emails going out tomorrow and tuesday.

I emailed Mrs. Stroud and she emailed me back I did not get into the RN progrm): So now my hopes are on the LVN program now!! Good luck to everyone who did get in.
