Navarro College Fall 17'

Hello everyone,

I decided to start a new form for Navarro College Fall 2017. I will be applying for Waxachahie campus. Anyone else applying? Deadline April 3rd to submit applications.

I'm so nervous too! I haven't applied anywhere else yet so if I get in I'm gonna accept. I think you get the amount of points based on how you did on the teas and how many classes you've already taken and where you live. How many points did everyone end up with?

It is attached to the paperwork we got from the information session. Don't know exact points but I got points for all the adn science course taken, current phlebotomist, 10+ previous college courses, and other things.

It is ranked highest to lowest after they add all the scores up per person. Example: If you have 103 points and I only have 90, you will have a better chance in getting accepted.

I know how the points work in general but I didn't attend an information session so I have no idea how to calculate them. Did they provide specific point info? I have worked in healthcare, scores high on the TEAS, and I have taken A&P1 and 2, nutrition amd psych.

In order to get points they required certain documents. Example: To get the points for A&P you must submit the official college transcripts, etc. The deadline to apply is not until April 3rd which is Monday. You should email Mrs. Debbie Carter and ask for that paperwork. So you can up your points.

I think I ended up with 106 points

Too late lol my stuff is all submitted, transcripts included. I took everything that was on the check list she sent me. I was just curious to see how many points I had. What did you all score on the TEAS?

Honestly I can't remember if it was 103 or 105 but it was one of those numbers

Hi All,

I also applied for both the ADN program and the LVN program. I got an email from the LVN dept stating they received my packet and will contact everyone in May sometime. I haven't heard anything regarding the ADN program. Is that bad?

I got the same email for the lvn program. No idea about the rn program. I only applied for lvn. Good luck!
