Navarro College Fall 2018 ADN

Published

Hi there!!!

I have applied to Navarro College ADN program for Fall 2018. I was curious if anyone else out there has done the same and would like to wait impatiently with me on here. :geek:

How did you all do on your entrance exam? I made a 91 on reading, 85 on math, 68 on science (that one makes me nervous), and an 82 on english.

Good luck to everyone, and I hope to hear from you soon!!

Vanessa

Girl, I am biting my nails!!!!

Same here lol hopefully we will find out soon!! :)

Anyone heard anything yet?

Sadly, no... I'm afraid it might be longer as it took bridge students quite a while to hear. I'll keep checking - 4 to 5 times a day though LOL

Thank you. That is true.. Oh the wait! Lol

Hello everyone, I have also applied for the NC ADN Fall 2018 program. I read one of the comments and someone mention that the ADN program will be in Waxahachie? I also have been checking my inbox throughout the day but have not received any news... biting my nails lol!!! Good job to all of you who have gotten this far in pursuing a degree in nursing. It is really tough and I hope you guys get accepted. Good luck.

Did anyone else apply to other nursing programs, such as El Centro, etc...

Hello Cosmic96! Good job to you as well! Yes they have moved it to Waxahachie campus. I am going to apply at TJC as well because that is where I am from. I want to move back home. I heard it is hard to get in there though. I hope you get in, best of luck to you! :D

Also, have you applied anywhere else yourself?

Yes I have applied to other school as well. Did not want to put all my eggs on one basket! Just in case one school does not work out. I did not do so good on the Science portion of the TEAS. I applied to El Centro and Brookhaven. El Centro requisites were stressful. I had to do the Hesi for there entrance into the nursing program.

I know what you mean. I did not do all that well on the science part either. Was the HESI harder? That's great you applied to many though! Hope you get accepted to your first choice!

If I don't get in Navarro, I'm going to purse my BSN as I've already started on those pre-reqs and either apply at UTA or an online program. I work pretty well independently. Navarro is just so much cheaper compared to a University and bridging would be less expensive especially if I can be working as an RN. I really like Navarro and hope I get in here as my first choice.

Lesliepack49, the Hesi was not hard at all. I think the TEAS was beyond harder than the Hesi, and if you can pass the TEAS then the Hesi should be easy for you. On the science portion on the Hesi it was based exactly on Anatomy and Physiology, unlike the TEAS which is based on micro, chemistry, physics, et...

heza07, hopefully you do get accepted to Navarro. Navarro is my first choice to and I hope I get accepted too. How did you do on the TEAS????
