I could use some advice from peds nurses on an issue I am having with my child. He is 9, normal health except that he vomits up his food every few months usually. I have taken him to the Dr. and Pediatrician and no tests were done, the ped thought it was either constipation or the start of chron's disease. The constipation issue, I monitor so I don't think that is an issue but who knows. The past few days he has been vomiting and feeling nauseated when he eats meals, but not every meal. He does not have a fever or flu, cold right now. I am calling the Dr. tomorrow but I really need to know what to ask her as I don't feel like this issue is resolved. Thanks for any replies.

I would be very straighforward with the physician about what you would like done. Do you want some tests run or some blood work drawn? Most peds docs are happy to honor parents' requests as long as they consider them reasonable.
If you are not satisfied with your pediatrician's responses to your concerns, I would seek a second opinion. Remember that you know your child better than anyone, and you are her best advocate.
