Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone got into any campus (Tucson, Flagstaff or Yuma) for this spring. I'm on the alternate list for both Tucson and Flagstaff.
I took the Kaplan, knowing I wouldn't get accepted into the program because I hadn't completed all the required coursework by the application deadline, so my first Kaplan test was a dry run. I barely didn't pass the science portion (the first time) and when I took it the second time (for real) I was surprised to find it was the same exact test and questions. So that helped. After I didn't pass the first time, I immediately went to my car and wrote down as many of the science questions as I could remember and studied those, in case the test repeated itself the second time I took it, and it did!
There's really no one topic to focus on. I would know effects of aging, cell structures and their functions, the heart, neuro... Unfortunately I cannot be too specific due to the fact it wouldn't be fair and I also can't recall the specifics. The Kaplan study guide did help some, as a general review of A&P, to help refresh your memory on some stuff. You can probably pick one up used on half.com or amazon. Just remember, if you don't pass the first time, write down your memory of the questions like crazy to study up for the next time.

I used a dummies guide to A&P type book. The science portion was mostly physiology. Good luck to you! I hope you get in!
