NAU FNP- how long till acceptance

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello! I'm new here so please forgive me if this was asked elsewhere. I just applied for the NAU FNP program about a month ago (july 2018) for the summer or fall semester (requested summer start)- does anyone know how long it takes before you find out if you are accepted or not? The deadline for applying is Dec. 2nd....I'm hoping that I don't have to wait until after that date to find out.

I'm applying to NAU once the application opens April 1st, for a Summer 2021 start.

Just curious, how long did it take you to hear back from NAU after you submitted your application? I hope they didn't wait until December!

Thank you!

Hello! Hard for me to remember exactly but I do remember it was approximately 3 months and long enough that I was wondering how close to the start date they planned to bother to tell us so we could get ready. Their inaction and complete disorganization and lack of answers to my questions once I got into the program made me go with GCU instead- which I have been very happy with.

So around September or so?

I completed my BSN with GCU and had an overall good experience. I've been looking into them as well.

I'm pretty drawn to NAU with the tuition being less and I really like that they take charge of practicum placement.

I've also considered Chamberlain, just worry about whether or not that will be seen with an attached stigma once I go to apply to NP jobs. For whatever reason, it seems like people have mixed feelings about Chamberlain.
