National Voter Registration Day: Make Your Plan to Vote

Quote

ANA’s NursesVote website empowers nurses and nurse advocates take part in Election Day. National Voter Registration Day is the epitome of increasing civic engagement across the country. Casting your vote means you have taken the crucial step in ensuring that voice is heard alongside of millions of fellow Americans.

Registering to Vote is a good start, but take an extra few seconds to make a plan to vote now.

You can do both at Nurses Vote which provides everything you need to be ready to vote and engage in the election at any level you choose. We urge everyone to vote and to do so safely. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, making a plan to vote is more important than ever.

Whether you are choosing to vote by mail where you can or in-person while wearing a mask, you need to plan ahead.

We are in tumultuous times heading into one of the most contentious elections in our nation’s history and nurses in particular have experienced frustration, loss, and vast emotions due to the pandemic. Many of you continue fighting on the frontlines and feel there is no end in sight. We all need to channel these frustrations and passion into political engagement. There is power in the collective voice of nurse advocates in the political process; when nurses speak, Washington listens!
