National University science courses??

Published

I am currently an LVN looking to bridge over to RN. I currently only have my science courses left to take. I live in Southern CA and am currently attending Mt San Jacinto College. The community college which I am currently attending always has a wait list for science courses and I cant manage to get one that fits my schedule. The counselor recommended National University for the 2 anatomy courses and micro course needed to fulfill my pre reqs. Has anyone attended National University science courses and or have any insight on the school? I am a little hesitant mainly because of my lack of information about the college and the price is high. The counselor advised me that the courses are 8 weeks long and if I start this January 2018 I will be finished with all 3 science courses by the end of June 2018. I am nervous about how much work the courses are going to be especially because I am working a full time job. Anyone have any info please?? =)

I know a couple of my friends who took their pre-reqs at national university. It's regionallly accredited so you should have no problem transferring classes to any college. The only downside is the price tag.

Yes it is very pricey. The adviser told me about 5500 for all 3( ana 1 ana 2 and micro)

Did they mention how difficult the class was? I'm scared because they are only 8 weeks long.

Well I think those classes in general are harder than most classes because that's the nature of them. However, you can check ratemyprofessor and see what other students have said about the professor that teaches the class.

Thank you so much for the info. =)
