National University Fresno Cohort 27

Hi everyone!

 I am starting a thread for this cohort since I haven't seen one yet. Feel free to add stats and chat anything admission! Advice is always welcome! I know this is a tough year to apply because of Covid but hopefully, this will help us support each other. I am on the fence with applying as well but these will be my stats if I decide to try.

GPA: 3.56

TEAS:84.0

I haven’t heard anything! And yes anxiety to the max! San Diego cohort had interview same day and already found out two days ago!

San Diego already found out? That is quick! I was told in the interview it would be a month until they decide...

On the presentation that they give for Nursing orientation it says one week after the interview but from what I understand few people have asked them and they said 2 weeks. Has anyone else asked about this? 
I would have thought that our timeline should coincide with San Diego cohort as it’s the same deadline and start date! Ughh 

 

Also anyone know how exactly we find out. Through email or student portal? I have been checking both!

Man, that doesn't give me much hope then if they told other people 2 weeks.

Same. I would check both portal and email, but I think they'll email. How did your guys' interview go? I felt pretty good about mine, but there were a few questions I felt like I could have answered better.

Interview was fine but let’s see what happens. Did you guys ask any questions at the end?

I asked in the interview and they told me 2-3 weeks. 

I agree looking back I think my answers could have been better, but I don't think my answers were terrible. 

From what I saw surfing through the other National threads you'll be notified through you National email.

Asked what were common issues/problems nursing students had while in the program, where were the clinical rotations, and one more question I can’t remember LOL. Same, I don’t think I did too terrible, but I’m a bit of a pessimistic haha. I’ve been rejected from other schools and this is my last choice as well as my first/most wanted choice for nursing school ?

I want to know the stats more than anything. Like how many people applied, the spread for GPA, TEAS, and interview. As well as the low and high combined scores and the score cut off that was accepted. 

I'm for sure feeling the anxiety but also know I did everything I could.

I noticed that not many people have been active on this thread as compared to SD and LA cohorts!! 

I was wondering what could that mean LOL

Anyone know the average scores out of 100 from Previous cohorts that got in?

I felt prepared for my answers, and they did ask a question at the end.  However, I don't think it was the best answer and looking back I know I could have answered better, but I do not do so well on the spot and did not want to sit there taking too long to think of an answer.  

Though I did my best and hopefully it will all work out.

I think it might be because more people apply to the LA and San Diego cohorts.  Fresno is a smaller city.
