I was wondering if anyone applied for the National Univeristy BSN program that starts in July 2012? :)

At last that hellish nightmare of prerequisites, more prerequisites and applications is over!!!! I was accepted and I am in shock. I really thought I would be denied and I was making plans to apply elsewhere immediately. Wow, I am so relieved to finally be moving forward. Good luck to the rest of you. Does any of my new cohort want to stay in touch?

I congratulate those of you who got in to this cohort, and also wish the best to those who will get in to a future one. I think that the best advice that I can give is to boost your TEAS score, and see if retaking classes will get your overall score to where it needs to be. I went to my local library to find resources to work on my writing skills for the essay, and NU provides that service as well. Don't despair if you didn't get in to this cohort, it took me two years. Western Governor's University is a good option, with clinicals in Orange County. For those of you who are willing to travel, Roseman University in Las Vegas could be an option as well, and that program only takes 14 months. Best of luck to all.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!! I will be joining all of you in the July 2012 cohort, and I am so excited to meet everyone and finally get this show on the road! I am also very relieved to have all the anticipation over with and to embark on this new journey. One step closer to reaching our destination as a nurse!!! I'll see you guys at orientation!!!

Hey Cohort 31 congrats on getting in to the National University Nursing Program. If you want to take a sneak peak of what you guys will be getting into check out nuson.org. It was started by a student in Cohort 24 and consulted by professors from NU Nursing Program. It's new and will be getting better and bigger. So check it out.
