National Nurses Day: Opp. to Honor Nurses

Hi, all! Am looking for ways to get the word out about a commemoration of National Nurses Day - May 6 - so that lots of nurses hear about it. I am just finding that nursing schools and national nursing organizations do not have easy to access information for their leaders (and have a surprisingly small presence on social media, too!). This is a totally grassroots effort tied to providing scholarships for nurses who want to serve abroad on Medical Missions. Any ideas on how to spread the word? Hospitals are also not incredibly helpful.

Every place I've ever worked has had a big celebration of some kind for Nurses Day (now Nurses week, and many places have expanded it to include all the healthcare staff; you know, so no one feels left out) -- granted, the celebrations are pretty much meaningless, but it's certainly not any kind of secret. Am I missing something here?
