The first week of June is National CPR and AED Awareness Week. In honor of this week, we have released a Facebook application to teach people how to perform hands-only CPR and how to use an AED. The app utilizes video training and a short, scenario-based quiz.
We are hoping to reach 1 million people with the training and need help from everyone in the community. Please, if you believe in spreading CPR training to the masses, add the Facebook application and send it to all your family and friends. The Hands Only CPR Facebook Application can be found by logging into Facebook and searching for "hands only cpr" or by clicking the link in this post.
Just a note -- please realize that this is a simplified version of CPR than is used in a health care setting by those formally trained in CPR. It is meant to reduce people's fears and encourage them to do something.
