Hello! I wanted to start a group for people applying for nursing in Nassau Community College Spring 2023 

Thank you for your encouragement!! I hope my TEAS are good enough because I really don't want to take it again LOL !

I'm currently taking biomedical ethics at Nassau and it's not too bad. I took Microbiology over this Summer at Nassau and it was definitely challenging- a lot of material in a small amount of time.  

Unfortunately I have to work during school, but I'm seriously considering scaling back to part time work if I get accepted. There's still a lot of things I'm considering still!

I think we will be able to work FT and go to school . Because it’s a few classes a semester if you have don’t all the pre req. I was on you tube I see some people working in school fulltime with kids and they are doing it so I think we can do it too

So now that we know Spring registration opens 11/14, anyone know if we will find out by then??

I feel like that would make the most sense, but I was told it would be around Thanksgiving.

No not yet ?. Side bar I went to visit LaGuardia community I don’t like it at all!

I know. I was accepted to sccc. I am waiting for the decision from Ncc.

They are taking to long !  CONGRATULATIONS! Are you excited? 
 

do you live closer to that school or nassau ?

I also applied to this school called monroe college . They have all the accreditations and it’s 24month . After the first year they give you your LPN so you can work and year 2 your get your RN they also accept straighterline credits ?

Want to laugh ? The lady in the nursing dept changed her number LOL . LOL I probably would change my number too if I was her LOL everyone is probably calling her all day and night

It will take me about the same to sccc and Ncc , but I like the Ncc program better

Did you visit NCC and get to go into the classroom and see the SIMS lab ?
