Hey everyone 

I'm reapplying for fall 2023. I applied last semester and was wait listed with 133 points. I retook the TEAS and I'm currently sitting at 148 points, im going to retake it one more time to see if I can score a little higher because I believe 150+ points puts you at a good chance of acceptance. 
here are my grades 

eng 1- B / eng 2- B+ /  ethics- b+ / Gen psy - A / lifespan psy - A / ap1- A / ap2- A / stats- C / Patho- c 

TEAS - math 97 / eng 76 / science 88 / reading 84 - overal 86

I got waitlisted last semester too with a score of 144 ? so I reapplied we got this Goodluck!!

Thank you! Ahh That was my 3rd time taking it ? LOL! Getting ready for my fourth attempt ?. 
 

you're deff a shoe in!! Especially since you took micro!

it's so crazy because I saw some cohorts, people were getting accepted with 140s+ points. This program is so competitive - I hope we make it!

Good luck to all of you! I know it is stressful. I am currently in my first semester of nursing. My advice, take as many prerequisites as you can. Do not forget that you get extra points for being a Nassau resident (10), and for never applying (5).

Do you have to take the ESC courses before actually starting the clinical process ?

Yes, in the first semester, you take ESC courses, and if you did not take all your prerequisites you take them as well.  Clinicals start in the second semester. Hope it answers your question
