Nashville state cc applicants for 2016

Hello, there. I just wanted to start a new thread for NSCC adn program applicants. Has anyone here applied at Nashville State CC for fall 2016? I think we are supposed to hear something back from the school from this month. Has anyone heard anything about interview yet?

Could you give me some pointers on the interview question and process?

I live in the Clarksville area as well, I'm hoping that's what it is, that it might take longer to get to us.

Everyone got different questions even though we were in a group. They were very open ended like "talk about a time you made a mistake and how you fixed it", "talk about a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how you resolved it", "tell us about a time you had to meet a big deadline and what you did to manage your time". There are no right answers, you just talk to them about what they want to know. Their goal is to identify the applicants they feel certain are going to make it in the program.

anyone know how long it takes to hear back from them? i had my interview april 26th, they said 2nd or 3rd week of this month.

They're pretty expedient but they won't make a final decision until the grades for any pre-reqs the applicants took this semester are in. Right now they're focused on getting the graduating class pinned and graduated next week. So yes, 2nd or 3rd week of this month.
