Nash Community College Evening Program

U.S.A. North Carolina

I was accepted into the evening ADN program at Nash Community College today. I was able to get into the program with 87.4 points. Are there previous or current students on allnurses that have some words of advice on the program?

I don't have anything to add. I'm currently a pre-nursing student at Nash. Congratulations!!!!

What were your grades like and what did you make on entrance exam to get accepted? I am going to apply for 2020 night program at Nash.

I received a "B" in BIO 168 and "A's" in all the other prerequisite courses. My HESI score was 84.40%. The evening program at Nash is great and is structured for working adults.

What is the schedule like? If you don’t mind me asking but does financial aid cover everything?

Sorry for the late reply! During the first semester, classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 pm - 9:30 pm. Clinicals are every other weekend, 6:30 am - 6:30 pm. After the first semester, all classes are from 6 pm - 9:00 pm.

I am not sure about financial aid. I know there are a few students receiving financial aid and it seems to cover everything. I do know you will be responsible for purchasing clinical uniforms and supplies before the semester starts, so you will have to pay out of pocket.

Thank you so much for that information. I will be done with my pre reqs at the end of spring. I am so nervous for taking the hesi exam. I hear the evening only accepts 20 so I know that I have to do my best to be considered.
